Believe it or not, my passion for advocacy has not waivered. After taking time off to write a book (Silence Kills, or How Career Suicide Saved My Life), I have resumed the practice of law. The name of my law firm is called Honorable Legal Services. The name was inspired by two things: (1) Obviously it is a tongue in cheek reference to my past existence as a Superior Court Judge and (2) More importantly, the firm is dedicated to "restoring honor to the court system", a place that i do believe has been co-opted by special interests. The average working person has no voice in the court system and I intend, one case at a time, to change that unhealthy dynamic. New cases are limited to Family Court cases (divorce, custody and visitation, child support, spousal support and paternity). I provide caring and attentive services for a flat fee. In other words my clients do not pay for my services by the hour. Instead after consulting with the client I give them one price to cover their entire case needs. I believe that this is the best way to ensure that my target clientele (middle class America and or Protective Parents) can afford to be represented in court.
